When I first hoped off the plane in Sudan I smelled fresh air of Southern Sudan. There was a warm breeze blowing against my relaxed face. I spotted a tall black Dinkan man in the distance walking towards me. He came up to me and said, "Welcome to Mareng!". He took my hand and gently pulled me towards his small tribal village. When we soon arrived to his village everybody welcomed me with a traditional Sudanese dance that welcomes people. After their dance panther took me to see his lovely wife. He also took me to the clinic he is creating in his village. I saw all the little happy kids with huge smiles across their faces. They danced around me and sang songs. This made me feel really happy to see kids grateful and so happy with every thing they have. Also while I was in Mareng Panther took me to the Nile river to swim. The cool water felt good after walking around in hot weather with dust flying around. I had a lot of fun when I went to Southern Sudan to visit Panther.
